Orbis has been leading the global fight against blindness for nearly 40 years. We are an international nonprofit organization that trains, educates, and inspires local ophthalmology teams in areas with severe eye diseases, enabling them to protect and safeguard the eye health of local residents and save their vision.

For nearly four decades, our charity has maintained a vast network of volunteers, collaborating with partner communities—including hospitals, universities, government agencies, and national health ministries—to provide practical ophthalmology training, strengthen healthcare systems, and strongly advocate for eye health on public health issues. Orbis's pioneering medical projects also include the world's only aircraft-based eye hospital.
